Terms of Service

Effective September 2026

DiscoHub, by Osiris DevWorks, LLC ("we"), is a bot and dashboard that keeps Discord forum channels and GitHub issues in sync. By adding the bot to a server, signing in to the dashboard, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use DiscoHub on behalf of a community or organization, you confirm you have the authority to accept them for it.

The service

DiscoHub mirrors content between the Discord servers and GitHub repositories you connect: forum threads and issues, comments, open/close and lock state, labels and tags, and attachments. It acts through Discord's and GitHub's official APIs and only within the servers and repositories you explicitly link. What the service stores to do this is described in the privacy policy.

Your accounts

You need a Discord account to use the bot and dashboard, and a GitHub account to install the GitHub App. Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for having the permissions you exercise there — for example, the right to add a bot to a server or install an app on a repository. We never see your passwords; sign-in happens on Discord's and GitHub's own pages.

Acceptable use

Don't use DiscoHub to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to spam or harass, to distribute malware, or to violate Discord's or GitHub's terms and community guidelines. Don't probe, overload, or disrupt the service, attempt to access data belonging to other servers or accounts, or resell the service without our agreement. We may suspend or remove access that we reasonably believe violates these rules.

Your content

The threads, issues, comments, and files DiscoHub mirrors are yours (or your community's); we claim no ownership of them. You grant us the limited right to store, copy, and transmit that content solely to provide the sync you configured — for example, re-hosting an attachment so it can appear on the other platform. You are responsible for what you and your members post; mirroring does not change who owns it or who is accountable for it.

Plans and billing

DiscoHub offers a free tier and paid tiers with higher limits. Prices and limits are listed on the pricing section and may change; changes to a paid plan you are on will be announced before they take effect. If a paid subscription lapses, your links beyond the free allowance are paused, not deleted, and resume if you re-subscribe.

Availability

We work to keep DiscoHub reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Sync depends on Discord and GitHub being reachable, and outages or API changes on their side can interrupt it. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of anything that materially reduces the service you pay for.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Osiris DevWorks, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of DiscoHub. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose (or $50 if you paid nothing). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using DiscoHub at any time: remove the bot from your server, uninstall the GitHub App, and unlink your repositories. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service or its users. Content already mirrored to Discord or GitHub stays on those platforms under their rules; the sync mappings we hold for a removed link are no longer used.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the new version will appear on this page with an updated date, and material changes will be announced in the support server. Continuing to use DiscoHub after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. For any question about them, reach us on Discord.
